It would be impossible to find a little girl who isn’t excited about her birthday. After all, her birthday is that special day when she is the centre of attention, and for a little girl, it doesn’t get better than that! With all this in mind, I’ve created some birthday printables for little girls, to make the lead-up and occasion even more exciting!

Birthday Wishlist

I think it’s fair to say, the thing that kids love the most about birthdays is receiving gifts. They love the thrill of ripping open the wrapping paper to find out what surprises await inside.

If your daughter is like mine, then she has lots, and lots… and lots of things that she’d love to receive.

Giving her a birthday wish list to complete is not only fun for her, but it will help you too. Here’s how:

• You’ll know exactly what she wants, making it easier for you (and other family members) to choose a gift she’ll love
• It’ll prevent her from receiving unwanted gifts
• You’ll be able to discuss an appropriate price range with her (if she lists items that are too expensive).

Birthday Countdown Calendars

Each year my daughter asks me to print out a calendar of the month of July (her birthday month) so that she can count down the days to her birthday. She loves crossing off one day at a time on the calendar and gets super excited as the big day gets closer.

Using a calendar is also a great way to teach young kids about time, as it helps them gain a better understanding of the length of a month, a week and a day.
