If you’re reading this, chances are you’re either about to step into the role of a Kindergarten/Prep mum for the first time, or have just begun this new chapter in your life.

I want you to know—I’ve been in your shoes, I understand how you’re feeling, and I’m here to help!

I became a “school mum” for the first time in my early forties, long after most of my friends had experienced it—some as much as 20 years earlier! So when it was my turn, I felt a little alone as I didn’t have a mum friend to share the experience with.

I had no idea what to expect or what was expected of me as a school mum. The nerves and anticipation set in the moment I enrolled my daughter in her new school—an entire six months before the school year had even begun!

During my daughter’s first year of school, I found myself learning as I went, often feeling frustrated because I wasn’t sure what I should be doing. I wanted to be like all the other mums at school who had years of school experience and knew how it all worked.

When I started my blog, I decided one of the first things I would do is write a comprehensive information pack for first-time school mums, because I know how much it will help you!

I had you in mind the entire time I created this pack! I knew exactly what to include because I went through the same experience just a few short years ago.
